K01 Level Switch. Plastic IR sensor |
|
They are ideal for a variety of point level sensing applications including medical and food & beverage as the plastic material is FDA certified for alimentary use. These level switches use infra red technology for their operation. They consist of an infrared emitter and an optical receiver. They have an operating temperature range of -10 to 105 deg C. There is a programmable timer inside these K01 level switches that allows a delay time to be set for delaying the output switching. They also have an optional green and red LED for indicating power ON and alarm respectively. The K01 level switches are not affected by the hardness or conductivity of the liquids whose level is to be sensed. Hence they can be used in any geographical area without any fine tuning. They are not recommended for use in liquids that crystallize or leave solid residue. These level switches have electronic protection against transient over voltage, reverse polarity and output short circuit depending on model. The K01 family of level switches have a detection accuracy of +/- 2 mm. Technical Data of the InstrumentOperation mode : Detect liquid presence with contact Electrical Connection
